Green Olive Tree Inc. (“Green Olive Tree”) is committed to respecting the privacy of its Clients and users of its hosting services (“Services”). This Privacy Statement outlines how Green Olive Tree collects, uses, discloses and safeguards personal data and Client content in connection with the Services, including rights and obligations under applicable privacy laws.

Information Collected. Green Olive Tree may collect the following types of information:
1. Client-Provided Information.
  - Contact details such as name, company name, email address, physical address, and phone number
  - Billing and payment information
  - Support requests and related communications
  - Login credentials for the Client portal
2. Technical and Usage Data.
  - IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers
  - Server logs, access times, and diagnostic data
  - Bandwidth usage, disk storage consumption, and resource utilization patterns
  - Metadata associated with hosted files, websites, or email transmissions
3. Client Content. Green Olive Tree does not monitor or access content hosted by Clients unless necessary for support, security, legal compliance, or as otherwise authorized by the Client.
Use of Information. Green Olive Tree uses collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services;
- To manage Client accounts, process transactions, and communicate billing matters;
- To respond to support requests and provide technical assistance;
- To improve service reliability, performance and security;
- To detect, prevent or investigate potential abuse, fraud or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy; and
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations or lawful requests.
Disclosure of Information. Green Olive Tree does not sell or rent Client information to third parties. Information may be disclosed in the following circumstances:
1. Vendors and Service Providers. To third parties who assist in operating the Services, such as payment processors, data centers, content-delivery and security providers (such as Cloudflare) or support platforms, under confidentiality obligations
2. Legal Requirements. When required to comply with subpoenas, court orders or applicable laws, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Green Olive Tree or others
3. Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, where Client information may be transferred as part of the transaction
Data Security. Green Olive Tree implements reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Client data and anonymous browsing data, including SSL encryption, access controls and employee training. However, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
Data Retention. Client data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill contractual or legal obligations. Backups and logs may be retained for a limited period following account termination, unless requested otherwise by Client in writing. Personal and technical data submitted through Green Olive Tree’s website may be retained as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, or support business operations. Client may request deletion of Client data by contacting Green Olive Tree.
Cookies and Similar Technologies. Green Olive Tree’s website does not use advertising cookies. With the visitor’s consent where required, it uses Google Analytics cookies to understand how the website is used, as described under Analytics and Behavioral Tools. The website may also store small settings in the visitor’s own browser (for example, to remember that an announcement was dismissed, or the visitor’s analytics choice); these settings stay on the visitor’s device. The Client portal uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep Clients signed in, secure their sessions and remember their preferences. Visitors can disable or delete cookies in their browser settings, but parts of the Client portal may not work without them. Security providers may also use strictly necessary cookies, as described in the next section.
Security and Spam Protection. Green Olive Tree’s website is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc., which provides security, performance and content-delivery services. The website’s contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell genuine visitors apart from automated spam. To do this, Turnstile processes limited technical information from the visitor’s browser and device, such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, and how the page is interacted with, and may use cookies or similar technologies that are strictly necessary for this check. This information is used only to protect the website from abuse. Cloudflare processes it under its own privacy policy, available at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ (opens in a new tab). To limit repeated submissions, Green Olive Tree also temporarily stores a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of the submitting IP address for up to one hour. The Client portal’s login page uses Google reCAPTCHA for the same purpose and offers an optional “Sign in with Google” feature; both are provided by Google LLC under Google’s privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy (opens in a new tab).
Client Content and Access. Clients retain ownership of content hosted through the Services. Green Olive Tree does not access Client content except:
- As authorized by the Client for support or troubleshooting;
- When required by law or lawful order; or
- To address technical or security issues that may affect the system or other clients.
Embedded Content. Pages on Green Olive Tree’s website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles or appointment-booking calendars) from third-party platforms. Embedded content behaves as if the visitor had visited the third-party site directly and may collect data, use cookies, or track interactions independently of Green Olive Tree’s control. Refer to the third party’s own privacy policies for more information.
Analytics and Behavioral Tools. Green Olive Tree uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC, to understand how visitors use its website, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive at the site, their approximate location (city or country), and their device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart and does not store visitors’ IP addresses. Green Olive Tree does not use Google Analytics for advertising, and Google’s advertising features are turned off. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are not measured with analytics cookies unless they opt in, and browsers that send a Global Privacy Control signal are treated as having opted out. Any visitor can change their choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page, or by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab). Green Olive Tree also reviews server logs, as described under Technical and Usage Data, to keep the website secure and operating properly.
International Data Transfers. If Services involve international transfers of Client data, such transfers will be conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Clients are responsible for ensuring their content complies with any data localization or export control requirements applicable to their jurisdiction.
Client Responsibilities. Clients are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their accounts, credentials, and data. Clients are also responsible for ensuring that any personal data stored or processed through the Services complies with applicable data privacy regulations, including obtaining necessary consents from data subjects.
GDPR Compliance (EU/EEA Residents). For Clients or end users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), Green Olive Tree processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
1. Legal Basis. Personal data is processed on the basis of contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interests, or Client consent.
2. Data Subject Rights. Data subjects have the right to request access to their personal data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and request data portability.
3. Data Controller. In most cases, the Client is the data controller and Green Olive Tree is a data processor acting on the Client’s instructions.

CCPA Compliance (California Residents). Green Olive Tree respects the rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
1. No Sale of Personal Information. Green Olive Tree does not sell personal information as defined by CCPA.
2. Consumer Rights. California residents have the right to request access to personal information, request deletion and request disclosure of how personal information is used.

Policy Changes. Green Olive Tree reserves the right to modify this Privacy Statement at any time. Clients will be notified of material changes, and continued use of the Services following such changes will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.
