Acceptable Use Policy

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

Please read this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) carefully before using the services (“the Services”) operated or provided by Green Olive Tree Inc. (“Green Olive Tree”).

Client’s use of the Services is subject to this AUP. All Client users must comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations. Any material or conduct that, in Green Olive Tree’s judgment, violates this policy may result in suspension or termination of the Services or removal of a user’s account.

1. Prohibited Use. The Services may not be used to publish content or engage in activity that is illegal under applicable law, harmful to others, or that would subject Green Olive Tree to liability (“Prohibited Use”). The following uses are expressly prohibited:

• Phishing or engaging in identity theft;
• Distributing computer viruses, worms, Trojan horses or other malicious code;
• Distributing pornography or adult-related content; offering escort or similar services;
• Distributing or engaging in gambling, including cash prize fantasy sports, lotteries or unauthorized microtransactions;
• Promoting or facilitating violence, hate speech or terrorist activities;
• Distributing or promoting offensive, defamatory or discriminatory content;
• Hosting or linking to content that infringes copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights;
• Hosting or promoting counterfeit, fraudulent or unauthorized goods;
• Hosting misleading or deceptive landing pages or fake news outlets;
• Operating services such as IRC daemons, open proxies, public VPNs, Tor nodes, or similar anonymizing networks without Green Olive Tree’s prior written consent;
• Using the Services to mine cryptocurrency or operate blockchain nodes unless expressly permitted;
• Breaching any local, federal, or international law or causing Green Olive Tree to breach any such law through use of the Services.

2. Customer Content Responsibility. Client is solely responsible for all data, content, or materials hosted, stored, or transmitted using the Services. Green Olive Tree does not pre-screen content but reserves the right to remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP or applicable law.
3. Email and Spam Policy. The Services may not be used to send unsolicited bulk email (“spam”). This includes:

• Using purchased, rented or harvested email lists;
• Sending deceptive or misleading subject lines or headers;
• Sending email that violates the CAN-SPAM Act or other applicable laws.
• Green Olive Tree reserves the right to disable email services or suspend accounts upon evidence of spamming activity or blacklisting due to misuse.

4. Authorized Users. Only authorized individuals with legitimate access rights granted by Client are permitted to use the Services. Account credentials may not be shared with or disclosed to unauthorized persons.
5. Unauthorized Access. Users must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any System, network or data. This includes, but is not limited to, port scanning, vulnerability probing, bypassing authentication or access restrictions, and exploiting software flaws or misconfigurations.
6. Fair Usage. The Services must be used in a manner that does not excessively consume system resources or degrade service performance for others. Prohibited behavior includes abusive or misconfigured applications or scripts, excessive or uncontrolled API requests, and excessive consumption of bandwidth, storage or other System resources.
7. Compliance with Usage Limits. Client users must comply with any usage limits or restrictions imposed by Green Olive Tree, including limitations on bandwidth, storage, email volume or processing time. Circumventing such limits through automation, use of multiple accounts or other means is strictly prohibited.
8. Security Practices. Client users are responsible for implementing appropriate security measures to protect Client Systems and environments, including, but not limited to, using strong, unique passwords, maintaining up-to-date software and applications, implementing antivirus and firewall protection, limiting access, and disabling unnecessary services and applications.
9. Client users must respect the confidentiality of any information or data accessed through the Services and must not disclose or share such information without proper authorization.
10. Third-Party Content and Licensing. Client is responsible for ensuring that any third-party software, themes, media or content used in connection with the Services is properly licensed. Hosting or distributing unlicensed or pirated materials constitutes a violation of this AUP.
11. Backups and Data Retention. While Green Olive Tree may offer backup services, Clients remain responsible for maintaining current backups of their own data. Green Olive Tree is not liable for data loss or corruption unless expressly stated in a separate agreement.
12. Enforcement, Suspension and Termination. Green Olive Tree will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a violation of this AUP has occurred. Violations of this policy may result in:

• Blocking IP addresses or domains;
• Throttling bandwidth or disabling problematic scripts;
• Immediate suspension or termination of a user’s account or access to a specific service;
• Immediate suspension or termination of Client’s Services, with or without notice.

13. Reporting Violations. Violations of this AUP may be reported to Green Olive Tree at [email protected]
14. Changes to This Policy. Green Olive Tree reserves the right to amend this AUP at any time. Notice of material changes will be provided to Client, and Client is encouraged to review the current version of this AUP regularly.
